The Saint Paul Hockey Club was founded in July 2010 by Terrence Bogie, a USA Hockey Level-4 Certified coach #065135 [see certificaton on USAHockey.com]. Terry started coaching youth hockey in 1986. He has coached Mites, Squirt C and A, Pee-Wee C and B. He grew up playing hockey at the Harmon and Orme rinks in West St. Paul, and on the pond off Edith Drive. Now in his 40s, he plays hockey year round, twice a week with players in their 20s through 60s.

I hope Saint Paul Hockey Club will add another dozen or more kids each year to the ranks of lifelong hockey players.

Coach Jim

Jim Phillips, a USA Hockey Level-1 Certified coach, was always at the playground growing up. Whether it was baseball, football, or hockey, it didn’t matter. They always could get a good-sized group of kids together and get a game going. Jim’s been skating on outdoor ice his whole life. and ran around on it four years of broomball after high school. He’s been coaching baseball and football for seven years now, and coached seven years of baseball when his older son was growing up. 2015–16 is his first year coaching hockey.

For me there’s nothing better than watching the kids develop all the skills and sportsmanship that goes with being a part of a team especially having fun doing it. Looking forward to another great season on the ice!
