Hey hockey players, who wants a jersey?

Note: this is not the final jersey design.

Thanks to a very generous sponsorship from the Midway Men’s Club, we are going to be able to order jerseys and additional gear!

I’ll be taking number and color requests starting immediately and placing an order for 30 jerseys in 5 different colors. The initial quote I got was for over $20 per jersey, but Saint Paul Hockey Club players can have them for free.

In addition to the jerseys, we’ll have money left over for some equipment needs. You are welcome to make a donation in exchange for your jersey so we can keep more of the money for additional equipment and supplies.

So, let me know:

1. what color and number you want (red, green, blue, purple, or black) by email or at the rink tomorrow (#7 purple, and #20 blue are already claimed).
2. if you wish to make a donation towards your jersey.
3. if you need a helmet, shin pads, breezers, or hockey gloves

I’ll have an order form at the rink tomorrow.

If you don’t know about the Midway Men’s Club, it is an organization that operates a stand at the State Fair and uses the proceeds to support youth activities in the Midway area of St. Paul. The delicious burgers, beverages, and other foods are about the most reasonable option at the Fairgrounds, and it’s a great, central location to regroup and plan your next move. That’s what I do every time I go to the fair, and the money you spend there comes right back to our community to do great things like this!
