Skaters fall into 3 divisions
Puffins
Puffins are beginners (typically age 5–9). If you are coming for the first time, show up on a Puffin night.
Snow Leopards
Snow Leopards are in transition. They can be of any age, but based on size and ability, they are a fit to skate with either group. They will be scheduled to skate with the Puffins but are welcome to join the Bears on Wednesday nights and Saturdays.
Bears
Bears are the bigger kids and strong skaters (typically age 9–12).
The divisions are named for cold-weather animals that live in the neighborhood (Como Zoo).
