Tonight we heard that Ramsey County will likely no longer fund Mighty Kids

“To fund Mighty Kids, county staff held fundraisers and worked with youth groups, skate clubs and other donors, including professional sports teams and individual players. Parks and Recreation Director Greg Mack said staff reductions make it unlikely those efforts will continue, though community partners could take it over.”

If anyone has any contacts with local foundations or other donors or volunteers who could help keep the Mighty Kids program going, let me know. I work to get in contact with the right people. And if Mighty Kids goes away, we’re gonna have more kids in Saint Paul Hockey Club than we’ll know what to do with—help!
